Normal – Interactive Liminal Horror Prototype, 2026

TECHNICAL PRODUCTION PIPELINE:
Liminal Environment Architecture:

Orchestrated an oppressive residential environment blockout in Unreal Engine 5, utilizing tight interior spatial proportions and repetitive structural geometry to generate psychological isolation and uncanny domestic tension.

Custom Material & Surface Pipeline:

Authored (2048x2048) seamless tileable wallpaper materials using Procreate offset quadrant blending and custom UE5 material graphs, incorporating low-bit color quantization and intentional texture artifacts to reflect a weathered early-2000s aesthetic.

Environmental World-Building:

Developed a cohesive visual language around dated domesticity, pairing tobacco-stained color palettes with dynamic UV scaling and targeted point lighting to amplify claustrophobic narrative resonance.

STILL MOVING

WHEREVER YOU ARE
Slice of Life · Unedited · Under 1:00 · 2026

A night walk, a song playing quiet off a phone speaker, a conversation
about the future — caught exactly as it happened, no second take.
THURSDAY
Photography · Candid · 2026

Just a regular night that got a little blurred at the edges.

I build worlds that feel like a half-remembered dream.

My work lives at the edge of film, animation, and interactive media. Places where a frame can make you stop and go ...huh. I'm drawn to the hazy, the liminal, the almost-there. The silhouette of something familiar that you can't quite name.

Sometimes that means turning the camera outward, on systems, on injustice, on the things we'd rather not look at directly. Sometimes it means turning it inward, into memory and perception and the texture of a feeling you can't quite articulate.

I'm Neha. I'm a filmmaker, animator, and world-builder studying Visual Arts at UBC. I make things that are meant to unsettle you gently, and then stay with you longer than you expected.

VOID is where I make them.
